Michael Pitts is an EMMY and multi award winning cinematographer and film producer with over 30 years’ experience. Primarily working on wildlife and science documentaries for the major broadcasters, Michael has also worked on commercials for high profile brands with  A-list celebrities. Recent works include BBC’s Sir David Attenborough’s ‘Great Barrier Reef’ and ‘Mission Galapagos’ where Michael was the principle cameraman for these underwater films. Michael has an extensive and broad range of credits including filming and producing a major 6 part series ‘Garden in the Sky’ narrated by Sir David Attenborough, DoP on feature doc ‘A Plastic Ocean’, continuous work on filming the excavation and recovery of artefacts on shipwreck the ‘Invincible’ wrecked in 1758, and camera / DoP work on productions such as BBC’s Atlantic, Shark, Wild Japan, Blue Planet, Private Life of Plants, and  Discovery’s Wild Dubai to name a few! Michael is one of the world’s leading underwater cameraman and is equally happy shooting in the open ocean, on the ground, or in the studio.
